Gelek Rimpoche's
talks and those of visiting teachers and scholars have been regularly
videotaped and audiotaped since 1990. Tapes are distributed to
Jewel Heart chapters for viewing and discussion. A limited number
of unedited recordings on CDROM are available for public distribution.
Transcripts
of Teachings
Jewel Heart
has prepared extensive transcripts of Rimpoche's talks on a variety
of topics in Tibetan Buddhism, as well as several shorter transcripts.
These transcripts are available to Jewel Heart dharma members
and supporting members.
Visit of His Holiness the
Dalai Lama
In
1994 Jewel Heart was privileged to co-sponsor a visit of His Holiness
the Dalai Lama to Ann Arbor. His Holiness gave a public talk and
White Tara blessing, and the visit occasioned a weeklong series
of cultural, academic and religious events in the Ann Arbor area.

workers in order to serve the Dharma activities of Jewel Heart
Centers nationwide. Jewel Heart's support includes instruction
to help Tibetan monks learn how to adapt their teaching methods
for the West.
Scholarly Reference
Gelek
Rimpoche's significant library of over 1,000 Dharma texts serves
as a resource to lamas and centers around the globe. In addition,
Rimpoche himself is a resource for Western Dharma teachers, cultural
historians, and Tibetologists.
