This continuing course presents three central themes on the path to enlightenment: the determination to be free from suffering, compassion for others, and wisdom. A transcript of Gelek Rimpoche’s teachings on these subjects serves as course material. Open to all.

Six Session Guru Yoga
This course aims to illuminate the long and short versions of the Six Session Guru Yoga, a foundational meditation practice to deepen the understanding of guru yoga and to keep Vajrayana commitments. Based on Gelek Rimpoche’s Six Session Guru Yoga transcript. Open to students who have received Maha anuttara yoga tantra initiation and the practice of the Six Session Guru Yoga as commitment.

Creating Space: Clarity and Insight through Meditation
Meditation is the basis of the spiritual path and the cornerstone for a focused daily life. This introductory course provides instruction in the basic elements of meditation – breathing, posture, stabilizing the mind, coping with distractions as well as establishing a daily meditation practice. An ideal introduction for new and less experienced students.

The Four Noble Truths
This course aims to give initial insight into the main message of the Buddha: that there is suffering and that it can be eliminated completely through one’s own efforts. A transcript of Gelek Rimpoche’s teachings on this subject serves as course material. Open to all.

Gateway to the Spiritual Path
The main focus of this course is developing a reliable spiritual foundation. A course book compiled from Gelek Rimpoche’s transcripts Transforming Negativities and Three Principles of the Path will provide the basis of study for this course. This class is an ideal introduction for new or less experienced students.
