Based on the national bestselling book "Good Life, Good Death" by Gelek Rimpoche, this course explores how the Tibetan Buddhist perspective can be utilized by anyone, of any faith, to bring depth, meaning and joy to daily life. An excellent introduction to Tibetan Buddhism for beginning students.

Lam Rim I: The Initial Scope – Section Two
The Lam Rim, or stages on the path to enlightenment, precisely outlines the entire spiritual path and is Je Tsongkhapa's most important legacy. Topics in this section include the teacher/student relationship and taking advantage of the precious opportunity of this life. This is the second in a series of linked courses to continue over the next two years that present the entire Tibetan Buddhist path based on transcripts of the extraordinary Lam Rim teachings of Gelek Rimpoche. Open to new and continuing students.

Open Meditation Sessions
Five minutes of meditation on the breath, followed by 20 minutes of silent meditation. Participants have the opportunity to engage in analytical meditation on the Lam Rim points or concentrated meditation on the breath or other object of focus. A Jewel Heart facilitator will open and close each session, answer questions, and provide guidance. Open to students at all levels of experience. Free.

GOM Practice Weekend
This meditation weekend intensive, offered according to the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, will include practice sessions with light guidance. Silence will be maintained between sessions. Practice sessions will include sitting and walking meditations. Instructors will be available for your assistance.
Location: Off-site location provided upon registration
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, March 21 and 22
Times: Saturday 9 am to 8:30 pm; Sunday 9 am to 6 pm
Please arrive early with time to begin on cushion by 9 am.
Cost: $30
Fee includes Saturday/Sunday soup and salad lunches and Saturday dinner.
Tea/Coffee/Snacks provided for breaks.

Vajrayana Discussion Group
The January meeting will focus on a brief overview of the short sadhana of Vajra Yogini. Open to students who have received the Vajra Yogini initiation.

Vajra Yogini Short Sadhana Class
This course based on the Vajra Yogini chapter of Gelek Rimpoche’s transcript Three Short Vajrayana Practices is intended as a support for new Vajra Yogini initiates and as a way for longer-term practitioners to review and practice with others. Open to students who have received the Vajra Yogini initiation and teachings from Rimpoche.

In this series, Rimpoche will teach on The Swift Path, or Nyur Lam in Tibetan. White Tara Practice Sessions
Tara is the mother goddess of Tibetan Buddhism, known for her quick and compassionate activity. Join us for guided meditation and group practice sessions in the healing and long-life practices of White Tara. These sessions are an ideal introduction to Tibetan Buddhist meditation for new and less experienced students. Experienced students will enjoy the chance to practice with a group.
