Jewel Heart Cleveland News

Despite heavy snows and several cancellations, JH Cleveland maintained a full schedule in January and February, with four new classes starting and Rimpoche's broadcast Nyur Lam teachings continuing. Other live video broadcasts included a Nyur Lam preliminaries workshop with Hartmut Sagolla, and the first ever broadcast weekend teaching with Rimpoche. A group of us also enjoyed watching a pre-recorded Lama Chopa ritual practice workshop. With Sunday talks increased to twice a month, the center is now in use most days of the week.\

Vajrayana activities included Heruka and Vajrayogini initiations and Vajrayogini teachings at the Winter retreat in Ann Arbor. For the first time in many years, Rimpoche allowed us to offer him a Tenzuk, a special offering done within a Lama Chopa tsoh for the Lama's long life. Practitioners in all centers met to celebrate the two special yearly tsohs required for all mother tantra practitioners.

Finally , members of the Sangha Council Executive Committee met to conduct usual business, and especially to begin the planning for Rimpoche's visit in March and a general Sangha meeting later in the spring.
