Songs of Inner Experience
October 9 - 13, 2003
Garrison Institute
Garrison, New York

Songs of Inner Experience

This retreat will present a comprehensive spiritual path that leads the individual practitioner from today’s standard to total enlightenment. Based on the Buddha’s experience, practiced by Indian and Tibetan masters, Tsong Khapa, founder of the Yellow Hat or Gelukpa tradition, presented his experience in the form of poetry.

The teachings will be divided into three sections. The first two are dedicated to developing love and compassion for yourself, which covers freedom from attachment to material success in both this life and future lives, as well as developing unlimited, unconditional compassion for others. The third section will detail the activities to undertake once compassion is developed.
