TIBETAN BUDDHISM FOR OUR TIME
What does Tibetan Buddhism have to offer to our modern, technologically developed fast living world? Long time Jewel Heart instructor Hartmut Sagolla will explore the timeless truths of the Buddha and give vivid examples and helpful hints for a contemporary practice.
Hartmut Sagolla has been a student of Tibetan Buddhist master Gelek Rimpoche from 1984 ‐ 2017. He has been working as Program Co‐Director of Jewel Heart, organizing and teaching classes, courses and workshops, guiding meditation retreats and transcribing and editng Gelek Rimpoche’s teachings. Hartmut lived at the Tibetan Buddhist Society for 15 years where he studied and practiced with Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden. He co‐founded the Bloomfield Hills chapter of Jewel Heart.

Mindfulness and Loving Kindness
Meditation provides a clear stable mind, necessary for a happy life and foundation for deepening our spiritual journey. This course offers handson with the basic elements of meditation, using breath, posture and techniques for coping with distractions and laxity of the mind as well as cultivating loving kindness for oneself and others.
