Lama Chopa Tsoh in honor of Je Tsongkhapa, Losang Drakpa, December 8
This year December 8 is Ganden Ngam Chu, the day Tibetans commemorate the life and enlightening activities of Je Rimpoche, commonly known as Je Tsongkhapa. On this evening, thousands of butter lamps are offered in Tibetan communities throughout the world.
At Jewel Heart Cleveland we will offer a traditional Lama Chopa offering ceremony (with at least 108 light offerings!), reciting in a combination of English and Tibetan, with copies available at the center. All are welcome to participate. Please bring an offering of food such as bread, cake or fruit, which participants may share after the ceremony.

Holiday Sale and Open House, December 14, 6-10 pm
Jewel Heart Cleveland will be a part of the Tremont Art Walk on Friday, December 14. Stop in at the center to shop for locally made presents, and enjoy holiday goodies, including the healthy variety! All your purchases will help support Jewel Heart. Be sure to spend time checking out all the other great Tremont venues as well.

This free weekly practice session offers Q&A or brief meditation instruction from 7-7:30 pm and two silent sittings from 7:30-8:30 pm. Beginners are welcome. Led by Anne Warren or other senior student

Vajrayogini long sadhana practice
Restricted to those who have had Vajrayogini initiation from Gelek Rimpoche. Because of scheduling difficulties, we will not meet for this practice in Nov. or Dec. 2012

Purification practice aka create a sacred environment aka cleaning the center
Contact Nancy at 216-662-6999 if you want to be part of the cleaning crew, and she will contact you when a cleaning session is scheduled (usually every 4-8 weeks). A bit of aerobic exercise and great purification – what could be better?

Yearly Food Drive postponed until after the new year. Because many charitable organization receive so many donation in November and December and fewer during the first months of the year, our food drive will be held January to March 2013 since that is when there is greatest need.

Our JH Cleveland Holiday Sale will take place this year from mid-November through our holiday party on Friday, December 14, a Tremont Artwalk night.
You may place a little or a lot of your work in the sale, and may leave it up for the entire month, or any part of it. Lots of flexibility! Contact Anne [email protected] 2216-691-5950 if you are interesting in having your work in the sale.
Second Friday Socials will not be held in September through November, but mark your calendar now for our holiday party on December 14!
