We long for meaning, for an effective way to bring insight and heart to the ordinary circumstances and inevitable challenges of our daily lives. On the basis of Gehlek Rimpoche’s book,Good Life, Good Death, this course will explore pragmatic methods to bring depth, meaning, and joy to our lives. Open to all, this is a wonderful place to begin or deepen spiritual practice

Class fee: Free for Jewel Heart members, $80 for non-members – but if you cannot afford this, please come anyway and discuss a full or partial scholarship with the instructor

New! Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life
Tuesdays, beginning March 27, 7-8:30 pm
Gelek Rimpoche will be teaching and giving the oral transmission of Shantideva’s great work, The Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life, at this year’s summer retreat. Following Rimpoche’s advice, each chapter of Jewel Heart will hold a class to overview this work as preparation for the retreat. Our Cleveland class will begin March 27, and will be open to all. The class will run for 13 weeks. Required text A Flash of Lightning in the Dark of Night plus a translation of the Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life (preferably the one by Stephen Batchelor).
