Lama Chopa Tsoh July 6
7 pm set up, 7:30-8:30 tsoh
On July 6, we will offer a Lama Chopa Tsoh in honor of the birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. This offering ceremony creates tremendous positive energy which we will dedicate for the longevity of His Holiness, all other spiritual teachers, and Buddha’s teachings.
All are welcome to attend. Please bring a food offering.

New Classes

Four Noble Truths
Dates: 8 Tuesdays from 7-8:30 pm, beginning July 12
This introductory course introduces the main message of the Buddha: that there is suffering in our lives and that it can be
completely eliminated through one’s own efforts. This class will be in discussion group format including concentrated meditation,
presentation, and guided analytical meditation during each session. The readings are taken from Gelek Rimpoche transcript The Four Noble Truths..
Instructor: Anne Warren
Cost: $40. Free for Jewel Heart members. Please come even if you cannot afford this and give what you can to help support Jewel Heart and Gelek Rimpoche’s teachings

Six Session Guru Yoga
Dates: 10 Wednesdays from 7-8:30 pm, beginning July 13
Based on Gelek Rimpoche’s Six Session Guru Yoga transcript illuminating the long and short Six Session Guru Yoga, a foundational meditationpractice to deepen the understanding of guru yoga and keep vajrayana commitments. Open to those with Vajrayana initation.

Concentrated meditation evenings
Time: 7-8:30 pm every Thursday NO MEDITATION AUGUST 25 OR SEPTEMBER 1 DUE TO SUMMER RETREAT
These free meditation sessions are open to all, and will include time for questions and discussion from 7-7:30 followed by two 25 minute meditation practice sessions.
Beginners are welcome, as are those who are working on the GOM stages.

Calling Artists, Craftspeople, Makers of all sorts!
It may seem early to think about the holiday season in July, but plans are beginning for our holiday arts and crafts sale, which will run from early-November to mid-December again this year. If you would like to offer your work for sale during that time, please contact Anne at 216-691-5950 or [email protected]. Since there is no entry fee, feel free to bring however many items you can have ready – there’s still time to create masterpieces!
We hope to have artwork, fine crafts such as ceramics, jewelry, knitwear, etc. handmade soap, and possibly jams, jellies and home harvested honey – and we are open to other ideas.
Participants are asked to donate at least 30% of sales to support Jewel Heart. Let’s make this another fun and successful sale!
