The challenges of our lives are so much easier to face when we can bring compassion into a difficult situation.
Join us for two evening teachings as Ven. Thubten Chodron explains how to become a better and happier person through the practice of compassion. For those who have not heard her before, Ven. Chodron is an American born Buddhist nun who is author of many wonderful dharma books, and founder of Sravasti Abbey in Washington state.
Her teaching style is accessible, grounded in tradition and livened by her sense of humor.

Thursday, April 3- ” Don’t Believe Everything You Think: Living With Wisdom and Compassion” 7-8:30 pm.
Suggested donation is $20 per evening, but please come even if you cannot afford this and give what you can.

!!URGENT!! Seeking Donations for Silent Auction – Needed by March 25
Our Cleveland Silent Auction has consistently been our most successful fundraiser, and a great place to find low cost gifts (not to mention the fun of bidding wars). Check your attics and the back of your closets for treasures that may appeal to others and raise some money for Jewel Heart. We ask that donations have a value of about $20 or more. A receipt for tax purposes can be provided upon request. Please bring items for the auction to any Jewel Heart event before March 25. Thanks all!
If you need to have your items picked up, please contact Janice (janicecogger at yahoo.com) or Anne (aewarren at sbcglobal.net)
