2025 Upcoming Events

Philadelphia is excited to welcome Demo Rinpoche this October for a series of public events!

On Thursday, October 16, Rinpoche will speak at Temple University from 4:00 – 5:30pm, offering students and community members an opportunity to engage with Buddhist philosophy in an academic setting.

On Friday, October 17, Rinpoche will give a talk at the Unitarian Society of Germantown from 6:00 – 7:30pm, creating space for interfaith dialogue and reflection.

On Saturday, October 18, Rinpoche’s visit to Philadephia will conclude with a teaching at the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center of Philadelphia from 10:00am – 12:00pm,  where Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike are invited to experience Buddhist teachings in a traditional spiritual environment.

Love In a Divided SocietySaturday, October 18, 10am – 12pm ET. Join in-person or via Zoom for this important teaching at the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center, 954 North Marshall Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Register here to attend.

Rinpoche will help us navigate different aspects of love in these tumultuous days. He will lead us in exploring what love is, how to grow genuine love, and why cultivating love is key to our happiness and a peaceful society.
