West Michigan Fall 2018
Jewel Heart Presents
White Tara Practice for Healing and Longevity
Presenting a workshop on the practice of White Tara – a deity associated with compassionate action and in particular physical healing and longevity. Participants will learn visualization techniques associated with balancing the body’s elements and rejuvenating one’s energetic life-force. Although it is a Buddhist-based practice, it is beneficial to all. Workshop is free and open with a suggested donation of $15.00. 1/2 hour reception and registration with refreshments at 12:30pm, workshop from 1-4:30pm
This a practice that was very important to Gelek Rimpoche as he was entrusted with sharing it with his students, friends and followers around the world. He taught this many times and offered initiations for White Tara on numerous occasions including to a group of about 600 in NYC shortly before he passed away. To ensure one has a long and healthy life and is able to learn and practice the Buddha’s teaching, a practice such as this is indispensable.
