Synopsis of the Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life

This course, a synopsis of the activities of a bodhisattva and based upon the writings of the Indian saint and scholar Shantideva, is offered in preparation for the 2012 Summer Retreat held from July 5 – 15. The primary text is A Flash of Lightning in the Dark of Night by H.H. the Dalai Lama. This course is open to all.

Deepening Awareness: The Practice of Mindfulness Meditation

Becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations through meditation opens the door to understanding the nature of our mind and how it influences our experience. While open to all, it is a follow-up to Creating Space: Clarity and Insight through Meditation.
