Lojong: How to Develop a Good Heart – with Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe

In this 2-day workshop, Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe – professor at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies and one of the most eminent scholars of Buddhism – explains these practices on the basis of the text Seven-Point Mind Training by Geshe Chekawa.

White Tara Meditation and Healing

Tara is the Female Buddha of Tibetan Buddhism known as an embodiment of enlightened love and compassion. White Tara is particularly associated with healing and long life. In this 4-part course, we use Gelek Rimpoche’s teaching on The Practice of the Triumphant Ma to learn visualization techniques to overcome physical, mental, and emotional suffering for ourselves and others.

White Tara Mantra Collection

We practice the Prayer to the Noble Tara and recite Tara’s mantra OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA many times. We dedicate this practice to the health and long life of our guru, our loved ones, and all beings. Join for as many sessions as you like.

SEM: The Nature of Mind – A Revolutionary Approach to the Science of Mind

Based on teachings delivered by Gelek Rimpoche on the nature of mind, this course addresses the relationship between energy and mind, the mind’s capacity for liberation and wisdom, and continuity of consciousness. Lojong is a set of profound practices that help us to clear our hearts and minds of selfishness and delusion. In this 2-day workshop, Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe explains these practices on the basis of the text “7-Point Mind Training.

Geshe Rinpoche’s gifts were recognized early in life. A genuine contemplative master and member of the last generation extensively trained in old Tibet, he is a Professor of Mool Shastra (Nalanda Tradition of Buddhist Philosophy) at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, the only Tibetan university in India.

He is regarded as one of the most eminent scholars of both the Madhyamaka tradition and Indian Buddhist studies. As one of the greatest learned scholars of Drepung Loseling Monastery, he facilitated completion of numerous research works, including a complete translation of Lama Tsongkhapa’s Lam Rim Chen Mo, or Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.
