The End of Suffering

Jewel Heart Nebraska presents a public talk

supagregcornerTHE END OF SUFFERING

with Supa Greg Corner

Friday, April 29, 2016
7:00 8:30 PM

3100 South 72nd Street, Lincoln (Directions: http://tiny.cc/April29)

Suffering is a fact of life. We hear about human suffering on the news every day. We encounter it in our own lives to varying degrees, time and again. It seems that no one is free from suffering. In the light of the 2500 year old teachings of Buddhism, suffering is defined, deconstructed, and dispelled. It’s not an easy path. Supa Greg Corner takes us to the trailhead.

Supa Greg Corner has been practicing and teaching Buddhism and meditation for 35 years. He lived in a Zen community for 7 years under the direction of Ven. Samu Sunim and was ordained in the Chogye order of Korean Son (Zen) Buddhism. He has studied Tibetan Buddhism with Kyabje Gelek Rimpoche since 1987 and is currently a senior teacher and community chaplain at the Jewel Heart Tibetan Buddhist Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mr. Corner will also present a Meditation Workshop Saturday, April 30, from 10am to 4pm at 1025 N 63rd Street, Lincoln. (Directions: http://tiny.cc/April30)
