Hartmut Sagolla has been a student of Gelek Rimpoche, founder of Jewel Heart, since 1984. He has continuously transcribed and edited Rimpoche’s teachings during the 15 years he lived at a Dharma Center in Australia and through his move to Michigan in 2002 where he joined Rimpoche’s team as a Program Director. In that role he has helped develop and present Rimpoche’s JH Programs, and supported retreats and special events. In 2011 he co-founded Jewel Heart Bloomfield Hills and in 2017, Jewel Heart Jackson. He has additionally led meditation programs outside of Jewel Heart, including at Google, various Michigan prisons, and as a participant in a research program on mindfulness at the Ann Arbor Veteran Affairs through the University of Michigan.

Tara, Mother Goddess of Tibetan Buddhism, is known for quick & compassionate activity and is associated with healing & long life. Based on Gelek Rimpoche’s transcript, The Practice of the Triumphant Ma, we will learn visualization meditations relying on the feminine energy of White Tara to overcome physical, mental and emotional suffering.
On Saturday March 25, those with Vajrayogini initiations are invited to meet at the Chateau Development Clubhouse to join with fellow Jewel Heart sangha via webinar in a Vajrayogini Sadhana and Tsoh dedicated to Gelek Rimpoche. The practice will begin at 1:00 PM CDT and conclude around 5:00. Only those with Vajrayogini Initiations are invited.
