Since I came back from Asia, I thought I would have a lot of time to do a lot of things, including spending time to write a book, which I do owe to the publishers. But, ever since then I have been so busy and have already gone to New York three times. Actually four times, including Garrison, and I’m looking forward to being in New York for the H. H. Dalai Lama’s visit, as well as the Jewel Heart benefit.
The folks in Jewel Heart do realize that Jewel Heart needs money too, so we are having a benefit on the 29th of October. Philip Glass told me yesterday on the phone that he has some exciting questions and he is preparing more questions and sharpening them, so I’ve been warned to watch out! He won’t tell me what they are about but I’m looking forward to our conversation. It will be fun and I hope that all of you can make it.
