Another thing within us is powerful hatred. That hatred is not going to give us inner joy but inner misery. Not only it gives us misery, but we carry it and begin to give the infection to the people with us; our spouses, children, companions and people who deal with you. That is something harmful we have within ourselves. That is what we have to change. We change it into care, love and compassion. Even for enemies we have to have compassion. Honestly. Otherwise, our compassion will be selective.
