The Four Immeasurable Thoughts
In order to get the best result from a meditation it is of crucial importance to set the best possible motivation. The Four Immeasurable Thoughts embrace all living beings without exception. Guided meditations will be offered for each.
The Field of Merit
For most impactful and profound meditation, practitioners invoke the Field of Merit, which is one’s own spiritual teacher in the appearance of an enlightened being such as the Buddha, surrounded by other enlightened manifestations. This workshop will guide through various visualizations of the Field of Merit as well as exploring its purpose and meaning.
The Seven Limbed Prayer and Special Request
In order to have profound meditations with lasting impact, practitioners strive to create positive energy and purify any obstacles in the presence of the Field of Merit. Making special requests opens our heart and makes us receptive to the wisdom, compassion and blessings from the Field of Merit, and also from within ourselves.
