In her many manifestations, Tara, the Mother of Buddhas, has been beloved and widely practiced for centuries. In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition Tara is well known as a form of blessings of Buddha and Bodhisattvas, and people who are sick or enduring risky situations rely on the practice of her.
In this winter retreat Demo Rinpoche will draw on some of the most beautiful and profound poetic prayers from great earlier practitioners to call on her, imagine her and meditate on her, and thereby connect ourselves with her, protect our meaningful life, and come closer to enlightenment.
