Rigsum Gonpo, (རིགས་གསུམ་མགོན་པོ་), the “Lords of the Three Families” is an empowerment combining three core bodhisattvas as deities, each embodying a fundamental quality of enlightened mind. Avalokitesvara, infinite compassion, Manjushri, transcendental wisdom and Vajrapani, power, strength and courage to overcome obstacles. It has particular relevance for those with Migtsema practice.
