Roger Jackson is professor emeritus of Asian studies and religion at Carleton College and a visiting professor of Buddhism at Maitripa College. His research and writing interests include Indian and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and ritual; Buddhist religious poetry; and modern Buddhist thought. Among the topics on which he has published are the Kālacakra Tantra, Dharmakīrti’s philosophy of religion, Tibetan literature, Buddhist “theology,” the songs of the Indian mahāsiddhas, and Mahāmudrā.
