In 2010, public talks on Sunday mornings in Ann Arbor were given by senior students selected by Gelek Rimpoche. Once a month Rimpoche was the morning speaker and would take that week’s topic and explore it with his audience.
In this teaching, the topic announced was “The Life of Buddha”, with the advertised description: “From his first recognition of suffering to complete victory over the cause of suffering, Buddha’s life story offers us guidance for our own lives today.”
