Ganden Ngam Chu, also known as Je Tsongkhapa Day, is the annual commemoration of the life and enlightening activities of Je Tsongkhapa, the 14th century founder of the Gelugpa tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, with offerings of practice and the lighting of thousands of butter lamps.

While falling on Sunday, December 18 this year, we will meet onsite and online at 3:00pm on Saturday afternoon, December 17th for a Lama Chöpa and Tsoh session after a 2 hour break following Demo Rinpoche’s morning program, Song of the Eastern Snow Mountains – A Song of Longing to Je Tsongkhapa.

All are welcome to join the Lama Chopa & Tsoh online or onsite Ann Arbor. For this festive event, those attending onsite at Jewel Heart Ann Arbor will celebrate with the lighting of candles.
