The First Dalai Lama, Gendun Drub, composed this poem after a vision he had of Tsongkhapa in response to sectarian attitudes of people around his retreat area. He advises his followers to be mindful not to fight with or be jealous of other spiritual practitioners, but to focus on the inner enemies, the delusions and cultivate patience and compassion.
