Onsite at Jewel Heart Ann Arbor
Watch Live. Stream Later.
The only child of a young mother died in a sudden accident, crashing her into psychotic grief. Gautama Buddha skillfully led her to see her grievous loss (dukkha) not as a uniquely catastrophic misfortune, but as the universal human condition. To live is to live with loss. No one is exempt, so no one is left out of this big family.
Sharing his own losses, Guy will talk about what helped in his worst moments. Drawing on the teachings of Roshi Joan Halifax, he will consider how we can best care for our siblings who are dying or are tormented by grief.

Onsite participants are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy lunchtime with Guy.
