We invite you to join Gelek Rimpoche for teachings on the Three Principal Aspects of the Path and a White Tara initiation during a weekend retreat co-hosted by the Gyuto Vajrayana Center and Jewel Heart in California.

This retreat is a wonderful opportunity amid our busy daily lives to learn and practice Dharma with Gelek Rimpoche in California.

The weekend will consist of Long Life Tara Initiation, meditation, lectures, group discussions, and Q&A sessions with Gelek Rimpoche.

Location: Vallombrosa Center, 250 Oak Grove Avenue, Menlo Park, CA 94025.

The Vallombrosa Center sits on ten acres of beautiful land that is tucked away in the heart of Menlo Park. It is conveniently located only 20 minutes from both the San Francisco International Airport and the San Jose Airport. It is also a 7 minute walk to the Cal train station.

• There will be a limited number of seats available.
• Groups are also welcome to register for this event.
• Vallombrosa is unfortunately not handicapped accessible
• Chairs and cushion seating available

Gelek Rimpoche will also be staying at Vallombrosa facility and people are encouraged to stay at Vallombrosa Center for the full retreat experience.

These rates are for the full Friday- Sunday Retreat:

Kyabje Gelek Rimpoche will often say he is happy to share what little he knows in order to “help ease our pain, relax our anxieties, reduce our anger and attachment, and build a little wisdom.” With that in mind, we are delighted to bring to you this great master known for his compassionate wisdom and endearing wit. Don’t be surprised to find yourself returning home with treasures for further reflection as well as tips to put to immediate use in your everyday world and relationships! The evening will begin at 6:30pm with a performance by the Creative Connections Arts Academy Choir as well as chanting of the Heart Sutra accompanied by the Veena. Rimpoche’s talk will begin around 7pm.
