Tsongkhapa Longevity Initiation and Lama Chöpa and Tsoh on Sunday beginning at 10:00am has a separate Zoom Link.

INITIATION ZOOM LINK

The Migtsema was originally a mutual praise between Lama Tsongkhapa and his teacher Lama Rendawa. It is now considered a mantra that contains the entire blessings of Tsongkhapa’s tradition and associated with a multitude of visualizations and contemplations. Demo Rinpoche will give a teaching on the Migtsema based on the Ganden Lha Gyema, a guru yoga practice associated with Tsongkhapa.

The retreat will consist of teachings, guided meditations and group practice to accumulate mantras and the collection of blessings associated with it. This is an opportunity for those interested in Vajrayana practice to lay the foundation to accumulate 100,000 Migtsemas, which is highly recommended as a preliminary for tantra studies. For long-term Vajrayana students, retreat offers a way to strengthen and deepen practice by joining others in shared contemplation.

Open to all. No vajrayana initiation is required for this retreat.

Limited sangha lodging available. Contact [email protected]. Reference “Jewel Heart” for discounts at Ann Arbor Kensington and Ann Arbor Even Hotels.
