A longtime close friend and supporter of Gelek Rimpoche and Jewel Heart, Bob shared a deep commitment to, and played a unique and critical role in, preserving and spreading the wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism in the West.
We celebrate his remarkable life and remember his scholarship, compassion, love, energy, enthusiasm and creativity in his immeasurable contributions to the Dharma and to many of us personally.
Our heartfelt condolences go to his family, friends, students, and all those whose lives he touched. We will miss him tremendously. And we are grateful for the many teachings he gave us at Jewel Heart. His loss is a loss to Tibetan Buddhism and all of humanity.
