Its purpose is for everyone to become Buddha. Having a precious human life is the basis to soon attain buddhahood, which is the state of total knowledge and no negativities left. on the way there we can purify negativities, which avoids meeting negative karmic results by avoiding the conditions and creating good karma, by connecting us with good conditions.
