In these weekly Sunday morning teachings spanning from March 2013 to December 2014, Gelek Rimpoche elaborates on the “Tibetan Buddhism” series, with the earlier sessions on the foundational Compassion for Oneself meditations, laying the ground work for the later sessions emphasizing Great Compassion for all living beings.

The Nature of Faith

The nature of faith needs to be clearly understood. We do not mean unquestioning, passive acceptance — blind faith. That is of no use to us and can lead to serious problems. The faith we seek is intelligent faith, a faith based on solid reasoning. Such faith acts in partnership with knowledge and understanding. Faith working in this way clears the mind. It builds quality and creates a base from which we can grow spiritually.
