In this series, you will be listening to original unedited audio teachings by Gelek Rimpoche during the 2010 Summer Retreat held at Jewel Heart, in Ann Arbor, MI.

We hear the call for compassion every day, both from within our own small circle and the greater world at large. Moved to help, we wonder how we can be of best benefit, often keenly aware of our limitations. Buddha taught the six activities we can establish, deepen and perfect within ourselves, shifting our experience of uncertainty and limit to the confident ability to not only relieve suffering, but also bring joy.

On the basis of the living tradition of Buddha, Gelek Rimpoche shares the six activities of generosity, morality, patience, enthusiasm, mediation and wisdom; each imperative for successful compassion for ourselves and especially in service of others.

Seventeen sessions in total, they range from just under one hour to almost two hours in length.
