THE FOUR SCHOOLS OF BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY

In this session, you will be listening to the unedited audio recording of teachings given by Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe over three days in September 2008 at Jewel Heart International in Ann Arbor, MI.

Geshe Yeshe Thapke is a longtime friend of Gelek Rimpoche’s and one of the greatest scholars of Tibetan Buddhism today, serving as a Professor at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (formerly Sanskrit University) in Sarnath/Varanasi, India.

Returning in 2008 to teach at Jewel Heart after an absence of almost 20 years, Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe introduces The Four Schools of Buddhist Philosophy, a collection of philosophical views on the nature of reality that are presented in an order of increasing subtlety. For spiritual practitioners aiming to identify and overcome the root cause of suffering, it is essential to understand these views.

Five sessions in total, they range from a little over one hour to over two hours in length.
