In these sessions, you will be listening to unedited audio recordings of teachings given by Gelek Rimpoche during September and October 1995 at Jewel Heart Ann Arbor, MI.
Rimpoche introduces us to the direct and indirect meanings of the wisdom mantra, TAYATHA GATE GATE PARAGATE PARASAMGAATE BODHI SOHA. On the basis of the mantra’s syllables, he teaches us how they relate to the Five Paths on the way to enlightenment and reminds us that, while ultimately all of Buddha’s teachings are included in the Prajnaparamita sutras, their essence is contained in the Heart Sutra and how to process and work with all of that is contained within the meaning of this mantra.
