In this series, you will be listening to original unedited audio teachings by Gelek Rimpoche during the 2007 Labor Day Weekend Retreat held at Jewel Heart in Ann Arbor, MI.

The great Indian yogi Dharmarakshita composed this text centuries ago, yet its message remains valid and profound. All our misfortunes originated from not understanding that true happiness comes from giving up the ego and selfishness.

With this insightful teaching, Gelek Rimpoche inspires us to try Buddha’s methods of wisdom and compassion to cut through our true enemies – self-grasping and self-cherishing.

In this retreat, Gelek Rimpoche reviews teachings from the 2007 Spring Retreat of the same name and continues with emphasis on the remaining verses. To listen to these teachings, one need not have previously listened to the Spring retreat.

Five sessions in total, they range from approximately one and one half hour to over three hours in length.
